Overview

As a Software Developer (Backend), you will write and maintain the code behind our mobile games and the web products around them. You will improve existing services, find and fix the technical problems that come up in production, and work closely with product managers, designers and other engineers to turn ideas into features and to act on the feedback that follows. You will also keep track of the tools and technologies worth bringing into our stack.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or another technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong backend development skills across our core technology stack: Node.js, Golang, and Python
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Git proficiency in a team environment, with the ability to understand, build, and continuously improve development workflows
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD, with practical experience building, deploying, and maintaining production services and automated delivery pipelines
• 2+ years of experience working on mobile gaming products, including their operation after launch
• Ability to work on several projects at once and meet agreed deadlines
• Strong knowledge of English, written and spoken
